The 34th Calcutta Championship was postponed earlier this year due to weather. The tournament has been rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend, so make your plans to attend.
Here are some key dates related to the rescheduled tournament, so mark your calendars now:
· Saturday, August 22nd – August Pub Night, Groomsbridge Clubhouse – Team Bidding 2.0 for all Flights (no gift basket raffle)
· Sept 4, 5, & 6 – Calcutta Championship Tournament. Food trucks will be on site Saturday and Sunday.
· Sept 6 – Championship Sunday – featuring a free Bagel Bar, Mimosa & Bloody Mary Bar, and 4 championship matches. Patrons are encouraged to make a donation to Special Pops Tennis in exchange for the great entertainment, food and beverages.
If you are not playing in the tournament, plan to come out and watch some great tennis with your neighbors!
