City Council Meeting
Monday, September 14, 2026
7:00 PM
Johns Creek City Hall
11360 Lakefield Drive
Johns Creek, GA 30097
Hello Medlock Bridge Homeowners,
Several homeowners who live along the lake have formed a committee to bring greater attention to the ongoing stormwater concerns affecting your community and the surrounding Johns Creek area.
Over the past several weeks, members of this group have attended the last two Johns Creek City Council meetings and spoken directly with Council members about their concerns regarding stormwater and the impact it has on Medlock Bridge as a whole.
Through their participation, they have seen firsthand that there is strength in numbers, and they would like to invite you to get involved.
The committee would especially like to connect with homeowners who may have concerns involving streams, drainage areas, creeks, lakes, flooding, erosion, or other bodies of water that border or affect your property.
The goal is to collaborate with other homeowners, share your experiences and concerns, and determine how you can collectively present a strong case to the City of Johns Creek.
The group has learned through attending recent City Council meetings that the City has a grant program intended to provide funding for stormwater-related issues. They have also learned that other surrounding communities have received funding assistance. The hope is that, by coming together and demonstrating the scope of the concerns within Medlock Bridge, you can encourage the City to consider Medlock Bridge for similar funding opportunities.
Your participation is important. Whether you live directly on the lake or have experienced other stormwater or drainage concerns within the community, your voice and your experience can help demonstrate the broader impact these issues have on Medlock Bridge.
Please consider attending the meeting this Sunday and learning more about how you can get involved.
There is strength in numbers, and the committee hopes to see as many Medlock Bridge homeowners as possible come together to support this effort.
Thank you for your continued interest and involvement in your community. We hope to see you Sunday!
